At Joseph L. Susi, CPA, P.A. we strive to provide outstanding service to our clients with
our personal service and attention to details.
Joseph L. Susi has worked in both public and private accounting. Joe has worked
with several start-up companies. He is a certified public accountant in the State of
Florida. Joe graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and a Masters of Accounting from the
University of Florida.
Joseph L. Susi ("Joe") was born in New York. His family relocated to Florida during the 1970's. Joe
adjusted well to the move and was raised and educated in this great state that he has grown to love.
Joe has always had an interest in business, accounting and tax. Prior attending the University of Florida,
Joe operated a multimillion dollar retail store and managed scores of employees through the years. In
the 1990's his business was sold to a larger corporate entity. The timing was right. Joe then seized the
opportunity of the sale of that business to return to school.
Joe entered the University of Florida where he obtained his degree in accounting, and went on to obtain
his master's degree in accounting as well. Joe graduated at the top of his class and earned numerous
honors along the way. Upon graduation he went to work in public accounting at one of Gainesville's
oldest and most respected accounting firms. Simultaneously, he went to work studying to become a
certified public accountant (CPA), an achievement he accomplished and which he is very proud of. Joe
is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.
Since becoming a CPA, Joe has worked for a number of multimillion dollar companies in the private
sector, where he has acted as those companies Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In forming Joseph L. Susi, CPA, P.A., Joe returns to his roots. He is committed to focusing his efforts
and talents on the public as a whole, offering tax and accounting services for both businesses and
individuals. He is committed to offering the very best service at the most affordable prices that are
available in the area. He looks forward to putting his vast experience and talents to work for you.
